Get your Nuka-Cola ready. Fallout Season 2 will now premiere on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.
Amazon originally scheduled the launch for December 17, but announced a last-minute change via a spectacular takeover of the Las Vegas Sphere. The Sphere was transformed into a post-apocalyptic snow globe featuring a massive Deathclaw trying to break out, confirming the new "early" drop time.
Global Premiere Times:
- Pacific Time (PT): 6:00 PM (Dec 16)
- Eastern Time (ET): 9:00 PM (Dec 16)
- United Kingdom (GMT): 2:00 AM (Dec 17)
What to Expect: Welcome to New Vegas
Season 2 picks up immediately after the Season 1 finale. Lucy (Ella Purnell) and The Ghoul are trekking across the Mojave Wasteland hunting for Hank MacLean (Kyle MacLachlan), who has fled to the shining jewel of the post-apocalypse: New Vegas.
Unlike Fallout Season 1, which dropped all episodes at once, Season 2 will follow a weekly release schedule:
- Episode 1: December 16, 2025
- Finale: February 4, 2026
The "AI Recap" Controversy
Ahead of the premiere, Amazon attempted to catch viewers up with an Fallout season 2 AI recap of the first season. It backfired spectacularly.
Fans noticed significant errors in the AI-generated video. The recap bizarrely claimed the show’s flashbacks took place in the 1950s (they actually occur in 2077). Amazon has since pulled the video.
